We currently have an opening for a versatile plant operator and yardman (loader and excavator) who is a highly motivated and professionally minded individual. We are looking for someone who prioritizes safety and possesses experience in plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Skilfully operate machinery, including loader, excavator and on-site watercart
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre-start checks
  • Record and report any issues or incidents
  • Complete all necessary safety documentation before starting work
  • Perform general yard duties and labour tasks including general housekeeping as required

Requirements

  • Experienced operating a loader, excavator, watercart
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Capability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Proficient in diagnosing issues and proposing solutions
  • Effectively management time and responsibilities
  • Reliable with a strong worth ethic and commitment to the role
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience operating loader and excavator equipment
  • Must have Australian work rights

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license (HR preferable)
  • Experienced in operating an excavator, front-end loader, watercart and performing general yard duties.
  • Tickets for front end Load and excavator
  • White Card
  • Experienced with Welding (not required but looked upon favourably)

  • Mixer/loader (Forklift / Front-end Loader Licence
