Job Title: Flat Pack Furniture Installer (Contract Role)

Location: Canberra, ACT

Pay: $40 per hour + paid travel time

Type: Contract, long-term opportunity with incentives

About the Role

We're looking for reliable and hands-on installers to join our flat pack assembly team. You'll be involved in truck loads and unloads of flat pack units . Delivering and installing flat pack furniture across ACT/NSW. This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and a friendly attitude are essential.

Key Duties

  • Driving to customer sites across ACT/NSW in a ute, van, or truck
  • Installing flat pack furniture, including beds, wardrobes, desks, saunas and more
  • Using basic hand and power tools to complete installations safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service at every job
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area during and after installation

Requirements

  • Full, valid driver's licence
  • Current Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Willing to obtain a Working With Children Check
  • Handy with basic power tools and assembly work
  • Professional, reliable, and customer-friendly demeanour
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • Previous experience assembling flat pack furniture highly advantageous

Bonus skills (not essential but highly regarded):

  • IKEA furniture assembly
  • Fitness equipment installation
  • Sauna installation
  • Trampoline assembly
