About the Role

We're currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service superstar to join our team in a permanent full-time role. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.

As part of our Customer Service team, you'll play a vital role in supporting independent retailers across Australia and New Zealand. You'll be the first point of contact, helping ensure shelves are stocked and retailers are empowered to serve their communities.

This role supports Metcash's Liquor Pillar, ALM (Australian Liquor Marketers), meaning your work directly impacts independent liquor stores and the local communities they support.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Customer Connection: Handle 30–60 inbound and outbound calls daily, providing friendly, solution-focused support.
  • Order Management: Accurately process high-volume data entry of orders with precision and speed.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve customer queries and claims with diligence and care.
  • Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in customer service – from call center's to face-to-face environments.
  • Strong attention to detail in both verbal and written communication.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for helping others.
  • Experience with CRM systems and strong proficiency in Excel.
