About the Role

Balmain Hospital is a community-based healthcare facility that has been caring for local people since 1885. It is dedicated to Aged Care, Rehabilitation and General Practice. Balmain Hospital is committed to providing the highest standards of healthcare to meet individual needs.


This position is responsible for efficient and effective cleaning, moving patients and equipment from one area to another as well as collecting and disposing of waste for all clinical and non- clinical areas.

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a healthcare facility or in commercial/industrial cleaning role.
  • Knowledge of manual handling and infection control principles.
  • Ability to work on a 7 day rotating roster.
