Job Opportunity: Account Manager (12-Month Maternity Leave Cover)

Melbourne | 10-Month Fixed-Term Contract | FMCG / Packaging / Retail

We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate
Account Manager
to join our team on a
10 month maternity leave contract
. This role plays a critical part in managing the relationship with
Coles Supermarkets
, focusing on the coordination and delivery of Coles Own Brand Packaging projects.

While you will be working closely with creative deliverables, please note that
this is not a creative design or construction role
. Instead, it involves managing timelines, stakeholder communications, and project execution to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Coles' design, photography, artwork, and production processes
  • Ensure internal SLAs are consistently met and processes are compliant
  • Attend WIP, Pre-Artwork, and Design Panel meetings to provide accurate updates on artwork in both pre-production and production stages
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Foster and grow strong relationships with both client and suppliers
  • Lead the day-to-day activities of the project management team to deliver exceptional client service
  • Provide regular reporting on account health and performance metrics

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Account Management or Project Management
  • Previous exposure to FMCG, packaging, or retail is advantageous
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with a proactive and professional demeanour
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others and share knowledge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and follow-up capabilities
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering outcomes aligned to client goals
