Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Future Leadership Full time $180,000 - $250,000 per year
  • Executive leadership of a large scale, high-impact disability services portfolio across Australia
  • Challenge the status quo and expand leadership norms
  • Champion a culture where people thrive

The Position

Our client, a national community services provider, seeks to appoint a commercially savvy and customer-centric executive to lead its large scale and high impact disability services portfolio as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The COO Disability will lead delivery of all disability service operations, ensuring the organisation delivers high quality, economically sustainable, client focused services. Challenging the status quo and expanding leadership norms for what can be achieved in this area will be a key requirement.

Leading with vision and operational rigor, the COO Disability will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be a key member of the Executive Leadership team. As a champion for business transformation and new ways of working, the COO Disability will foster continuous improvement and alignment to best practice as well as oversee risk management efforts, including safeguarding practices to protect vulnerable populations.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and accomplished executive with a proven record in leadership, transformation of operational excellence and strategic management within the disability sector, or perhaps in an adjacent sector such as aged care. Having operated in environments of considerable scale, across geographically dispersed operations, the appointee will bring a customer centric lens to provide strong operational leadership. They will be recognised as strategic with highly developed analytical skills and will have the distinct ability to problem solve with agility.
