About the role

SACC is seeking a highly experienced and hands on Chief Operating Officer to join our executive team and play a critical role in the continued success of our business. As Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare organisation, ensuring we deliver exceptional service and outcomes for our patients. This is a full-time, fixed term role based in our Sandringham office.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive efficiency, productivity and profitability across the organisation
  • Leading and managing our team of operational managers and staff to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality service delivery
  • Overseeing and optimising key business functions including finance, IT, HR, facilities management, clinical services and supply chain operations
  • Identifying and capitalising on opportunities for process improvements, cost savings and strategic growth
  • Providing expert advice and recommendations to the executive team on operational matters
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards and accreditations
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and exceptional customer service

  • Extensive experience as senior operations executive in the healthcare industry
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, enhancing productivity and profitability in a complex, fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems
  • Excellent leadership, people management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, best practices and industry trends
  • Strong commercial acumen and management skills
