About the role:

Due to strong, sustainable growth resulting in internal role promotions, our Axiom Chinchilla branch is seeking to fill a processing support role in an Administration/Assistant Client Manager (processing support) position.

It is a full time role, based in our Chinchilla office.

This role is suited to an entry-level applicant.

Full on-the-job training is provided for the role, alongside formal training of a Tier 2/Tier 1 in Insurance Broking, paid for by the employer.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated individual who operates with respect, integrity and empathy.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills is paramount, along with a high focus on attention to detail.

Skills and experience

Key responsibilities include:

  • General reception and administration duties
  • Administrative tasks such as processing paperwork, client correspondence, maintaining detailed records and data entry
  • Working with Client Managers to gather information from clients and assess their insurance needs
  • Build and nurture new and existing client relationships
  • Processing renewals, endorsements and cancellations
  • Assist with claims as required

Key skills required for success in the role include:

  • Completed Year 12 or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of focus and strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer services
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Have a positive and pro-active approach to work
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is advantageous
  • Previous administration experience may be advantageous
  • Applicants with broking experience and/or qualifications will be highly regarded, but this is not essential.
