Role Overview:

The
Deputy Product Manager
is primarily responsible for managing operations support for the Product Line. This includes regular liaison with the primary customers (user units) to ensure users have the required support from Defence. The role ensures that user Product support requirements are appropriately planned and scheduled in the individual team sprint cycles. Additionally, it includes ongoing liaison with the Operations Team to communicate and co-ordinate Product Line demands on that team

The successful candidate will have

  • Minimum NV1
    Security Clearance
  • Experience in project management
  • Bachelor degree in ICT, or a related discipline.
  • Qualifications in Project Management.
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner
  • Certified SAFe DevOps Practitioner
  • Meaningful experience in and understanding of information technology and/or cyber security
  • Experience in Stakeholder Engagement
  • Experience in using Agile processes to interpret stakeholder user stories and expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables within challenging and tight timeframes
  • Ability to lead; know how to follow; and be an active, proactive member of a high performing tea
