You'll be at the heart of an ambitious and proactive sales team, playing a crucial role in driving success by supporting external sales representatives, managing key accounts, and generating new business opportunities.

What You'll Do

  • Supporting the external sales team with existing accounts, potential customers, and incoming cash sales enquiries through quote generation.
  • Assisting with lead generation and following up with Builders & Contractors on tender submissions.
  • Data entry tasks with sales information, customer orders, and quotes.
  • Generating quotes, managing price books, and modifying account discounts for external sales.
  • Proactively following up on leads, tracking new accounts, and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
  • Preparing project enquiries for order entry and responding to customer requests fast and accurately.
  • Collaborating with customer service, production, and transport teams to ensure seamless project execution.

About You

  • Industry Know-How: 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing business, preferably in the building materials or construction sector. Roofing, fascia, guttering, rainwater, plumbing products? That's a huge plus
  • Technical & Quoting Expertise: You have a solid grasp of technical product information and can generate quotes like a pro.
  • Fast & Accurate Data Entry: You don't just type—you own the numbers.
  • Excellent Communication: You're a natural at building relationships, internally and externally.
  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with Excel, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: You know how to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines with ease.
  • A Team Player Attitude: Proactive, positive, and always looking for ways to add value.
