The Opportunity

We're seeking a high-performing and commercially minded Senior Project Manager to join our Construction team. Reporting to the Construction Director, this pivotal role will lead the delivery of major residential and mixed-use projects within Kokoda's national portfolio.

You'll oversee the full project lifecycle, from design coordination and tender management through to construction delivery and handover. Your leadership will ensure our projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety and commercial performance, while upholding Kokoda's commitment to design excellence and brand integrity.

About the Role

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple residential and mixed-use developments from design through to handover
• Oversee project planning, procurement and construction management to ensure time, cost and quality targets are achieved
• Coordinate consultants, builders and authorities to drive seamless project execution
• Manage contract administration including progress claims, variations, and extensions of time
• Champion Kokoda's design and quality standards through collaborative builder and consultant relationships
• Provide clear leadership across tender processes, superintendent engagement, and value management activities
• Ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting and compliance across all project phases
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing construction culture

About You

• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering mid-to-large-scale residential and mixed-use projects
• Strong technical knowledge of design and construct methodologies and on-site delivery
• Proven ability to manage programs, budgets and contracts with discipline and commercial insight
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Strategic and organised approach with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Collaborative leader who inspires trust and drives results through accountability
• Willingness to travel interstate to support project delivery
