Estimator / Scheduler – Concrete & Reinforcing
Our client well-established concrete and reinforcing company delivering quality projects across Sydney. Projects range around the $500k mark, and we pride ourselves on delivering a professional product.
The Role
We're seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Estimator / Scheduler to join our team in Riverwood. You won't be managing staff — your focus will be on quoting, allocating the men to jobs, ordering reinforcement, scheduling works, and visiting sites to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate quotes for concrete and reinforcing projects (average project value ~$500K)
- Allocate labour resources to jobs and manage scheduling
- Order reinforcement and coordinate deliveries
- Visit sites to check progress and liaise with the team
- Maintain open communication with the Director regarding project timelines and requirements
- Handle multiple jobs at once (typically up to 10 active projects)
About You
- Previous experience in concrete/reinforcing or construction estimating
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Strong organisational skills for scheduling and resource allocation
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Experience with Bluebeam is highly advantageous (but not essential)
- Drivers licence required
