We encourage strong connections in each community we have centres in, so every Chipmunks centre is uniquely different with its own team and way of operating based on the needs of that area.

We have a strong focus on servicing families and are always open to having discussions with parents on any matters that they would like to raise with us. Our key duty is to the children who attend our services and their families.

What we require:

We are seeking staff who are dedicated professionals who value the importance of maintaining an optimum level of care and education for all children. We select our staff based on knowledge and values, vision for children and learning, and commitment to families.

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Educator.

As an educator you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators and the community
  • Create and maintain a fun, safe and engaging learning environment
  • Assist the room leader in implementing a high-quality educational program in consultation with children, families, educators and the community.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Hold a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or higher

  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check
  • Able to collaborate with other educators and build strong programs
  • Working knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
  • Previous experience working in childcare is preferred but not necessary.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
