Nepean Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Unit Manager to lead and manage a busy Emergency Department in a Permanant Part Time role, working 3 days per week. This leadership role requires a highly skilled nurse with excellent clinical expertise, strong management capabilities and a passion for delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

This position will see you promote a positive and collaborative team culture, fostering professional development and high morale, ensure compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies and accreditation requirements and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.

What you will bring to the role:

• Registered Nurse division 1 with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Proven clinical management experience in an Emergency Department including experience in skill mix, patient acuity management and patient flow.
• Graduate certificate in Critical Care (Emergency) with extensive clinical experience in Emergency Nursing
• Holding or working towards relevant tertiary qualifications in management
• Demonstrated advanced communication & negotiation skills
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving skills
• Demonstrated previous experience in meeting Ministry of Health set KPI's
