Job Requirements

You will be the leading hand for a morning/ day shift position in the industrial/food processing cleaning industry. You will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager and ensuring the operational hygiene at our site in Chullura, NSW.

  • Shift times are 6am - 2pm
  • Available to start immediately
  • Hourly rate $33.38 per hr
  • Leading hand allowance between $ $92.72 per week
  • Morning/ Day shift 5 days per week (days are subject to change)
  • MUST have experience in the industry & previous supervising/ leading hand experience
  • MUST have UNLIMITED Working rights in Australia
  • Paid as per the Cleaning Services Award "MA000022"
  • You will be liaising with the site manager by providing contingency; mentoring and coaching the cleaners; providing supervision and direction to employees; and ensuring health and safety compliance. This will be achieved by:
  • Leading by example and driving continuous improvement.
  • Building strong relationships with both employees and clients.
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented.
  • Looking after company and client property and equipment.
  • Specialized cleaning
  • Controlling documentation and reporting of correct and accurate data.
  • Following site safety, OH&S requirements and reporting any hazards.
  • Complying with the Quality Management System.
  • You will also participate in daily cleaning verification checks to ensure the quality outcomes are achieved.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A 'can do' attitude, and be physically fit in order to partake in the variety of tasks within this role.
  • Well presented, and have effective communication in both verbal and written formats.
  • Computer literate and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Expert attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to manage documentation, including rosters, timesheets, training records, employment verifications and traceability reporting (both internally and for clients)
  • Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
  • Experience in factory cleaning and/or the meat industry is beneficial but not essential.
