About The BUSY Group…
The BUSY Group is a not-for-profit organisation which presents 45 years experience as a community partner. About the role...
This isn't your typical partnerships gig — this is where industry meets influence.
As our Group Partnerships Manager, you'll be the connector who brings industry associations, employer groups, peak bodies, and government stakeholders together to create real impact. One day you're co-designing initiatives with a national industry association, the next you're presenting workforce solutions to an employer network or briefing a local MP to drive visibility and influence.
The Group Partnerships Manager is responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships with industry associations, employer networks, and the VET sector, ensuring The BUSY Group's services are front-of-mind where workforce and skills challenges are being solved. This role positions The BUSY Group as a trusted partner to associations and their members, identifying collaboration opportunities and shaping initiatives that respond to industry-wide needs such as skills shortages, diversity and inclusion, and youth employment. Through proactive engagement, market insights, and high-impact presentations, you'll help expand our reach, deepen industry trust, and strengthen our reputation as a leader in employment services and skills development.
What your week might look like:
- Meet with a national industry association to explore how BUSY can support their members with workforce and training solutions.
- Represent BUSY at a state-level chamber of commerce event, building visibility and influence.
- Co-design initiatives with employer groups and associations that address critical workforce challenges.
- Collaborate with BUSY program leaders to align proposals with industry needs — from apprenticeships to employment pathways.
- Brief an MP on association-driven initiatives and showcase the local impact of BUSY's programs.
- Deliver presentations that resonate with association boards, employer members, and community forums.
This role is permanent full time based at our Southport Head Office or East Brisbane office.
