
Group Finance Manager

Position Overview
The Group Finance Manager will own and manage the financial and risk management operations of the Group. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development of analytics that help to drive strategy.
You will also be responsible for ongoing development and monitoring of financial management and financial control systems designed to preserve the assets of the Group and report accurate financial results.
Key Responsibilities
• Effectively communicate with executives to drive business outcomes.
• Monitor 'whole of business' compliance requirements, and coach operational managers.
• Manage and maintain the Group finance systems, including IT selection.
Financial Planning
• Develop the Group financial strategy and agreed metrics to measure financial performance.
• Develop Group financial projections and forecasts.
• Control and evaluate the Group's capital raising plans and capital structure.
• Monitor and advise on new project financing and budget management.
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
• Investigate options for debt raising as necessary ensuring forecast requirements to maintain liquidity.
Financial Management
• Manage the suite of financial reports and Group management accounting activity.
• Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the Group.
• Submit business activity metrics to ASIC annually.
• Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the Group's operations.
• Responsibility for preparation of monthly management accounts, board and external reports.
Risk Management
• Manage Group risk and exposure by analysing liabilities, revenue and investments.
• Manage appropriate insurance coverage the Group, including future projects.
• Evaluate Group bids and tenders and advise on risk and cost benefit analysis.
The Successful Candidate
• You will Be CA/CPA Qualified with minimum of 5 Years PQE.
• Have a tertiary degree in Finance or Business.
• Organise and lead staff with dignity and respect in a highly professional manner.
• Emotional maturity, the ability to solve complex problems.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to communicate with people at all levels.
