Company Description

National Civil Train (NCT) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that specializes in providing training courses for the civil construction and Victorian Electrical Supply Industry. Owned and operated by experienced civil construction personnel, NCT offers business training solutions for civil and VEDN operators. NCT has been an industry leader since 2015, conducting training and assessments on tablets for more efficient outcomes.

Role Description

we are currently seeking a Subcontract Trainer and Assessor to join NCT.

This is a casual role for a Technical Trainer at National Civil Train. You will be responsible for delivering technical training sessions, and ensuring effective communication with trainees:

  • Conduct assessment in accordance with the principles of assessment and the designated assessment strategy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for improvement and acting responsively to implement agreed improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of training and assessment materials when required.
  • Participate in assessment validation activities to promote fair and reliable assessment and to maintain the alignment of assessment activities and materials with industry expectations and training package requirements.

Qualifications

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equ.
  • Experience in a similar role with relevant and current engagement within the Victorian Electrical Supply industry.
  • Other qualifications and skills related to NCT 45058 Scope of Registration - Desirable

Successful Candidates will have:

  • Hold an active ABN and insurance
  • Be flexible with work days
  • Be reliable, motivated, and professional
  • Possess a current driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites (including overnight stays when required)
