Automotive Technical Training Developer

As a result of an internal promotion, we are now seeking to appoint a Technical Training Developer to develop training material for Instructor Led Training (ILT) programs & eLearning technical content for Isuzu Australia's truck & power solutions dealers and fleet customers.
This position reports to the National Training Manager and is located in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing training materials
- Ensuring that training materials meet the requirements of our trainers, dealers, service technicians, and parts interpreters
- Providing recommendations for future training strategies
- Conducting train the trainer programs
- Creating training aids to support technical training programs
- Supporting the eLearning developer in creating eLearning content
- Developing and desktop publishing Isuzu Truck Technicians Guild articles for the Isuzu Australia Dealer Network and Fleet customers
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of two years' experience developing automotive technical training materials.
- Relevant trade qualifications with a minimum 2 years trade experience
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification)
- A detailed knowledge of current automotive technology including electrical/electronic systems
- Strong communication skills – written and spoken
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (in particular PowerPoint, Word & Excel – experience with Adobe Creative Suite products would be an advantage)
- A current Driver's Licence (HR desired)
