About us
MANIAX is the first and largest urban Axe Throwing company in Australia - creating awesome experiences since 2014. Specialising in hosting groups for team-building events, birthday celebrations, hens/bucks parties, date nights or epic get-togethers with a bunch of mates for any occasion.
At MANIAX we're all about axes, bevs and banter - bringing people together for an axe-perience they won't forget, unleashing the inner Viking that cannot wait to sink that first bullseye.
MANIAX currently operates venues in Victoria (Melbourne CBD, Knox, Abbotsford), New South Wales (Sydney Inner West, Newcastle), ACT (Canberra), Queensland (Gold Coast, Brisbane CBD, Newstead), and Western Australia (Northbridge, Fremantle) with ambitions to expand further in 2026 and beyond.
About you
The Senior Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy, supporting the Business Development Manager (BDM), and Group marketing Manager and converting corporate and private inquiries. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales and client relationship management.

About the role
Based in our Melbourne (Abbotsford) office, the Senior Sales Executive is the champion of the MANIAX guest, going above and beyond to ensure every guest nationally receives an axe-cellent end-to-end experience.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor a small team of sales professionals to achieve targets
- Support the BDM and Group Marketing Manager in developing and executing sales strategies
- Engage with the corporate market and manage key corporate inquiries
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless service delivery
Ensure guests have the best possible MANIAX experience by showcasing additional products and services
- Work with MANIAX operations team to accommodate custom and unique requests
- Update and maintain customer records across Hubspot CRM and other systems
- Participate in cross-functional projects and discussions to improve the overall MANIAX experience/offering
- Contact existing and prospective MANIAX customers via relevant channels to obtain, & convert bookings and revenue
Essential skills
- Previous senior sales/sales lead experience in a high volume environment with a proven record of achieving and exceeding targets
- Excellent attention to detail and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong understanding of strategic directives
- Experience in data driven decision making
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Australian work rights are required for this position
Desired skills (not essential)
- Prior experience using Hubspot CRM
- Prior experience using Roller software

This is a part time position. As the business embarks on its next phase of growth, there may be opportunities to increase hours, workdays as required.
