About the Role

The Senior Portfolio Analyst works within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office business unit of the NSW Electoral Commission and supports the centre of excellence function and business systems. The centre of excellence function creates frameworks, templates, process and drives the capability uplift across project, programme, portfolio and change management. This also includes agile delivery, business analysis and all other disciplines that support project management.

There roles are two (2) temporary full-time positions up to 30 June 2027.

Key knowledge, experience and essential requirements

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, equivalent, relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working within an Enterprise Portfolio Management office (EPMO) supporting corporate strategy and portfolio of strategic programs and projects.
  • Experience working in complex project environments effectively engaging key stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of PMI Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) with demonstrated experience supporting the Project Management lifecycle and associated controls.
  • Experience in assessing training needs, developing training content and delivering training to uplift project disciplines and support the uptake and use of associated processes and supporting technology.
  • Track record in engaging with stakeholders and project teams in a complex matrix environment to uplift project and programme management maturity.
  • Demonstrated technical and administration experience in Microsoft suite such as SharePoint, O365, Project Professional, Power Platform, Power Bi, and Project Online.
