Additional information:

- - This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

About this work area

As Customer Team Leader your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- - Lead the daily operations and support a team of co-workers in their daily work to secure a positive & seamless customer journey in busy physical retail environment
- Empower co-workers through continuous competence development and trust so they are always ready to support the customer journey
- Ensuring co-workers are actively supported in their daily work and you actively develop, coach and mentor your team through set reviews and on the job conversations
- Support your manager in managing the recruitment, retention, performance management and succession planning
- Listening and understanding omnichannel customer feedback, both written and in-person, and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner as an ambassador for the IKEA brand
- Work closely with the Customer Operations Manager and other leaders to ensure the business goals are being actioned and relevant metrics achieved

As a Customer Team Leader you are/ have:

- - Proven experience in a physical retail environment (large format experience highly desirable)
- Highly developed communication and organisational skills
- Proven experience in leadership including development, coaching, and performance management
- Passionate about understanding the customer journey, and how you & your team support in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Driven to thrive in a multi-faceted, fast paced environment where you are relentless about delivering the best outcomes for co-worker, customer, and business
- Continuously proactive in seeking ways to simplify processes and reduce unnecessary negative costs to the business
- Able to navigate and ensure the completion of policies, processes and any regulatory compliance
