About the role:

Senior Project Officer, Governance Secretariat will be responsible for providing secretariat support to the Consultative Council of Obstetric and Paediatric Mortality and Morbidity (CCOPMM) and their subcommittees.

The Senior Project Officer will demonstrate a high level of data analysis, secretariat skills, sound stakeholder engagement, as well as an ability to collaborate with others to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the Victorian health workforces. You will liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders and analyse information collected from stakeholders to ensure appropriate services are provided to the obstetric and paediatric sector and to support improvement of the safety and effectiveness of healthcare in Victoria.

You will be a high performing team member with strong analytical, written work, problem solving, project management and communication skills. The successful candidate will have specialist skills in database management, stakeholder engagement and process improvement and possess meticulous record keeping skills.

The role reports to the Manager, Governance Secretariat and will work closely with other team members to contribute to the work of the wider branch and ensure the implementation and delivery against the SCV strategic objectives.

About you:

A tertiary qualification in midwifery is highly desirable.

Current or recent experience in a healthcare related field is highly desirable.
