We are seeking a Client Partner which is the most senior Lead on client business, responsible for growing new and existing pieces of business, developing and owning C-Level relationships with our clients and at Akcelo, whilst also being responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue, profit targets within the portfolio. 

An expert at snr client and c-suite stakeholder management, the Client Partner seeks at all times to be the clients most important partner, ensuring all Akcelo outputs align with the clients business goals. The Client Partner is completely accountable for the success of the portfolio they run, including retainer negotiations, C-Level issue resolution, team performance and agency output quality. The Client Partner will also manage and mentor more junior team members and lead exemplary client management standards. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all client relationships from C-Suite level down.
  • Build and grow new and existing client relationships, develop strategic client growth plans to exceed revenue targets and broaden service offering.
  • Be the client's most important strategic partner. 
  • Prepare and present accurate client forecasts and implement the strategic client growth plans to meet and exceed these forecasts consistently. 
  • Motivate the Akcelo team around the clients business goals and be an advocate for the client inside the agency, in addition to ensuring alignment of the work with the clients goals.
  • Lead and oversee Akcelo's people efficiently to ensure successful delivery of agency capability on every project, ensuring delivery of Akcelo's high standards.
  • Develop snr client relationships through entertainment & thought leadership.
  • Oversee the delivery of all work and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure alignment to timings, budget and revenue/profit requirements.
  • Actively seek new opportunities to provide additional services to clients where appropriate including activating the right Akcelo capability to assist the client with any brief that they require, or might require in the future.
  • Mentor and oversee junior team members as required, even if not in your team.
  • Actively represent Akcelo's interests as part of the working business with clients.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Meet minimum revenue targets set quarterly  
  • Develop CMO / Head of Marketing / Marketing Director level relationships autonomously
  • Clients are completely satisfied with Akcelo's output, service levels and capability.
  • Develop and lead award winning creative and technology projects in your portfolio.
  • Key client escalation leader and is able to resolve issues independently and effectively.
  • Development of strategic client plans to broaden service offering and exceed revenue targets for each client in the portfolio.
  • Deliver a minimum of industry average (15%) profit across the client portfolio.
  • Project risks are effectively managed and mitigated with strategies put in place.
  • Financial reports and forecasts are accurate, provided on time, and continually met.
  • Project kick-offs, resource requests and project management is complete accurately.
  • Lead new business pitches, negotiate finances and drive increasing profit for the agency.
  • Effectively work under pressure to lead and manage the business portfolio autonomously.
