About the role

Mackay City Auto Group is seeking an experienced Fleet Sales Manager to join our team. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for managing and growing our fleet sales operations, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our corporate and commercial clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to grow our fleet sales revenue and market share
  • Identifying and pursuing new fleet sales opportunities within the Mackay and surrounding regions
  • Negotiating and closing fleet sales contracts with corporate and commercial clients
  • Ensuring timely delivery and excellent post-sale support for all fleet vehicle purchases
  • Analysing market trends and competition to inform pricing and strategy
  • Reporting on sales performance and providing recommendations to senior management

  • Proven track record of success in fleet sales management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to work with clients at all levels
  • Excellent understanding of fleet vehicle procurement, leasing and management
  • Effective leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
