Avec Global,
one of Australia's fastest-growing consultancies, is building the "A-Team" in partnership with Defence research and science division. This elite group of consultants will work shoulder-to-shoulder with Defence science researchers to deliver mission-critical innovation, science and technology projects.

We are currently looking for
Cloud Engineers
to be responsible for undertaking the deployment, management and maintenance of a range of on-premise Cloud infrastructure.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum of 5 years administering, managing and/or supporting more than one of the following:
  • Strong experience managing hypervisor platforms
  • Strongly developed skills in programming for automation: Knowledge of programming languages (like Python) for task automation and service manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of network design and management principles in a cloud context
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices for managing and deploying cloud applications
  • Skills in implementing security controls and monitoring for threats in cloud environments

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum Negative Vetting level 1, and there is a strong preference for NV 2 clearance.
  • Experience within Commonwealth Government, Defence, or a scientific research organization is highly desirable
