Your New Opportunity:

We're seeking a skilled
Data Engineer
to design, implement, and optimise data architecture across the organisation. This role will be pivotal in building scalable, secure, and high-performing data systems that power enterprise reporting, analytics, and smarter business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, and integration frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure efficient, accurate, and scalable data flow.
  • Create and optimise data models to support analysis and reporting.
  • Manage and optimise cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Build and manage integrations and APIs, including Dynamics365 Business Central, OData, and RESTful services.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Collaborate with ICT, analysts, and business stakeholders to align data systems with organisational needs.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation and champion best practices in data engineering.

About You:

We're looking for a curious, proactive, and detail-oriented Data Engineer who's passionate about turning complex data into reliable, usable insights. You thrive on solving problems, building scalable solutions, and collaborating with others to create real business impact.

You'll bring with you:

  • At least 3 years' experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for building scalable data solutions.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Familiarity with APIs and system integrations, ideally with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • An understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It would also be great (but not essential) if you have:

  • Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Architect, Dynamics 365, Power Apps).
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Azure services like Data Factory, Synapse, or Logic Apps.
