Experienced Senior Dental Nurse wanted for a high-quality private clinic. If you're a skilled dental assistant with excellent English, EXACT experience, and a commitment to high standards, we'd love to meet you.
Candidates must hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting qualification.
EXACT experience refers to private practice experience in dental nursing.
A minimum of 2-3 years of dental nursing experience is required for this position.
Ardent Dental Clinic, a well-established practice in Melbourne's inner east, is looking for a capable and committed Senior Dental Nurse to join our team. If you value professionalism, high standards, and a balanced workplace where experience is recognised, this role may be your next home.
Your Responsibilities
• Chairside assistance with advanced general dentistry
• Maintaining immaculate sterilisation and infection control
• Preparing rooms, managing supplies, supporting dentists and the PM
• Clear communication with patients and clinicians
• Mentoring junior staff where required
• Helping maintain a calm, organised clinical environment
• Permanent resident status is required for this position
We are seeking someone who brings:
• At least 2+ years of hands-on dental nursing experience in Australia
• Strong familiarity with EXACT dental software (or demonstrated ability to master it quickly)
• Excellent spoken and written English to support patient care and documentation
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
• Reliability, empathy, and attention to detail
• A professional approach and the ability to adapt smoothly to established systems
This position is designed for an experienced dental nurse.
It is not suitable for overseas-trained or locally trained dentists seeking registration pathways or temporary positions. We are specifically looking for career dental nurses who enjoy the clinical assisting role long term.
