About the role

We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Fork Lift Operator to join our team at Ron Crouch Transport based in Laverton North.

This is a full-time Monday - Friday role that will see you operating a range of forklift equipment to ensure the efficient and safe movement of goods within our warehouse facility.

The shift is either 6.30am to 2.36pm or 10am to 6.06pm

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts to move and load/unload palletized goods and materials
  • Conducting pre-operational safety checks and reporting any issues with equipment
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to inventory movements
  • Adhering to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Counterbalance Forklift License
  • Minimum 3 years' experience operating various high reach forklift and other equipment in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Experience in Dangerous Goods Handling
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control
