About the Role
This newly created, finance focused, role is a result of our company's continued growth, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance officer to join a dynamic and progressive organisation.
Key Responsibilities Include
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will:
- Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date records
- Receive and process customer payments efficiently
- Send weekly customer statements to ensure consistent communication and transparency
- Establish supplier accounts and manage related documentation
- Process invoices as necessary to ensure timely payment and record keeping
- Manage the processing of non-stock invoices accurately
- Accurately upload Streets Ice-creams invoices daily
- Reconcile petty cash and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Deposit cash at the bank and ensure reconciliations of daily merchant payments are conducted

What You Will Bring:
- Prior experience providing financial support in a similar (warehouse/logistics/distribution) environment.
- Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office and database software/programs (though training will be provided).
- Outstanding attention to detail, care for accuracy, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional data entry skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work under time-constraints, in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to learn and expand your knowledge.
