Are you organised, love ticking things off your to-do list, and get a quiet thrill from keeping things in order? This could be your perfect start. We're on the lookout for a Junior Accounts Payable superstar to join our growing finance team in Townsville.
You don't need years of experience – just a great attitude, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. We'll teach you the rest
You'll be based in our Townsville Support Office, working with a friendly and supportive team that keeps our hotels running smoothly. No two days are the same, and you'll gain hands-on experience across a range of finance and hospitality operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Helping process invoices in our Accounts Payable system (Lightyear)
- Making sure invoices are coded correctly and approved by the right people
- Assisting with transfers to our accounting system (Xero)
- Supporting bookkeepers and site teams with general queries
- Learning and developing your finance skills every day
What We're Looking For
- A great communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
- Super organised, with good attention to detail
- Confident using computers (Excel and Word experience is a plus)
- A team player who's also happy to work independently
- Eager to learn and build a career in finance
