Assistant Accountant to take on our month end processes including reporting and
reconciliation.

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with other
Accountants, this is a hands-on exposure to end-to-end finance operation where
you will use your excellent communication skills to ensure all finance issues
are satisfactorily resolved. You'll sharpen your financial reporting skills and
develop a deep understanding of P&L and balance sheet drivers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist with month-end financial close - journals,
    reconciliations, reporting, intercompany processes, cashflow, etc.
  • Assist with the preparation of statutory financial reports,
    including working with external auditors & our parent company
  • Support the preparation & review of monthly costs across
    the business and associated analysis inclusive of management reporting
    requirements
  • Provide input with building and implementation of required
    systems, processes, and policies to progress financial and commercial
    business maturity
  • Drive improvements in reporting, controls, and adherence to
    group policies
  • Support the financial control and accounting function within
    Manassen Group and Sunbeam Foods
  • Provide cross functional team support and coverage as and when
    required

What You
Bring

You are outcome-focused,
financially astute, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or
    commerce
  • Studying towards or near completion of CPA or CA qualification
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience in multidivisional structure or matrixed environment is
    desirable
  • Continuous Improvement mind-set including ability to utilise and
    optimise systems to achieve efficient and effective outcomes
  • Ability to demonstrate acumen in business and function disciplines
  • Outstanding written
    and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice,
    influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external
    stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to
    work as an effective member of a diverse team, as well as the ability to
    exercise independence, sound judgement and initiative by applying critical
    thinking and lateral problem-solving skills in overcoming obstacles within
    tight timeframes.
