About the Opportunity

Origin Support Services is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. We are needing support workers to support a 24-year-old gentleman with a spinal injury.

Day to day tasks include but not limited to:

  • Assisting the participant with day-to-day activities
  • Personal Care
  • Building relationships with the participant
  • Supporting the participants with appointments
  • Providing community access
  • Recording detailed Incident Reports and Shift Notes
  • Ensuring the participants needs are being met, paying particular focus to the goals outlined in their NDIS plan.

About You:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle with third-party insurance

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

  • Experience or training in manual handling

  • Strong communication skills: fluency in English is essential to meet specific participant needs

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team alongside other support workers

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Certificate 3 or above in community services or individual support

  • Experience with high intensity supports

  • Experience with Catheter and Stoma care
