About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in the daily lives of NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals, maintain independence, and enjoy a safe, comfortable home environment. You'll be working in a team-based SIL setting, providing consistent, person-centred care tailored to each individual's needs.

We offer part-time, and full-time positions, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for career growth.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care, hygiene, daily routines and medication administration
  • Support with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Lead and encourage engagement in house activities
  • Encourage community participation and social engagement
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Promote independence and skill-building in everyday activities
  • Collaborate with Support Team on weekly house activities, and house member enrichment
  • Collaborate with participant Multidisciplinary teams for training on specific support needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the wider care team
  • Uphold safety standards and follow all relevant policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
  • Experience in disability support or nursing (Enrolled Nurse background highly regarded)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Additional Certifications/Training relating to Disability Support
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Commitment to upholding the dignity, rights, and independence of people with disabilities
