About the Role

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000

We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and ambitious YouTube Video Editor to join our clients team full time. This role is about far more than cutting clips, it is about directing and managing the full production cycle of world-class YouTube content.

You will work directly with their founder, a young and successful e-commerce and SaaS entrepreneur based in Brisbane, to turn raw footage into engaging, story-driven videos that captivate audiences worldwide. This role requires being based in Brisbane and working closely with their team on the ground.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and creatively direct

  • the YouTube production process from start to finish
  • Edit raw footage into compelling, well-paced, story-driven content
  • Collaborate on storyboarding, scripting, and narrative direction
  • Optimize videos for YouTube best practices including thumbnails, hooks, pacing, and structure
  • Maintain a streamlined workflow and organized file management system
  • Stay ahead of YouTube trends, editing styles, and storytelling techniques

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a YouTube editor with a strong portfolio
  • Exceptional storytelling and narrative-building ability
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Understanding of YouTube analytics and how editing impacts retention
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating closely with a team
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Brisbane, Australia
