About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic, and relationship-driven Client Delivery Lead to join our team in supporting a high-profile government department. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for managing client engagement, overseeing delivery excellence, and driving outcomes that align with our client's mission and objectives.
As the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders for the client, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and solutions, while cultivating strong, trust-based relationships that foster long-term partnership and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the principal liaison between the organisation and a high profile government department.
- Lead the delivery of complex programmes and services, ensuring alignment with client expectations, policy objectives, and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with senior government stakeholders, anticipating needs and proactively identifying opportunities to add value.
- Oversee delivery teams, ensuring high performance, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across all engagements.
- Provide governance, reporting, and assurance to internal and external stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues.
- Support business development by identifying areas for growth and contributing to proposals, presentations, and strategic planning.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within delivery teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in client delivery or account leadership roles within government or public sector-facing organisations.
- Deep understanding of government operations, procurement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills, with a track record of working with senior decision makers.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on value creation and outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills.
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to operate in fast paced, politically sensitive environments.
Desirable:
- Experience in consulting, digital transformation, or public sector service delivery.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, programme management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, MSP or PRINCE2).
