About the role

Narrogin Betta is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store in Narrogin, WA. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for managing a team of passionate retail professionals and ensuring the smooth running of our store to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing effective leadership and mentoring to your team of retail associates including the selection, training and supervision of staff
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Overseeing inventory management to determine product mix, stock levels and service management
  • Monitoring and analysing store performance metrics to identify areas for improvement requiring formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies and setting prices
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant regulations
  • Fostering a positive and customer-focused store environment
  • Collaborating with the central team on strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably within the consumer products industry
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience
