This means as a SPM you demonstrate a high familiarity with the subject matter and are able to produce these deliverables with no guidance from senior team members. Senior Project Managers are able to validate and oversee deliverables produced by Project Coordinators, Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers. It is expected a SPM manages between 5-8 projects at various stages.As the Senior Project Manager, you are expected to take total responsibility for the effective management of all phases of a project (or projects) from initial establishment to handover and project closure of your projects as well as any persons you manage. The role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all participants in the project and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.About you: As a Senior Project Manager, you have a responsibility as a leader to contribute to the development of less experienced colleagues through mentoring and coaching in all aspects of project management.Someone who can confidently manage project delivery from inception to closure with an ability to assist in the commercial assessment of new projects and in the preparation of project proposals and the delivery of presentations. You will have proven negotiation skills with both internal and external groups including contractors, suppliers, consultants, and authorities and have the emotional maturity to effectively manage diverse personalities.An understanding of the legal environment for each project in respect of planning, commercial aspects and delivery constraints is essential as well as our obligations for complying with AS 4801, AS 14001 and Environmental Health and Safety legislation generally.Requirements:Lead and manage highly complex and technical data centre projectsTechnical understanding of data centre infrastructure – Electrical, mechanical, generators, fire, security, BMSEngineering background preferrableMinimum of 7 years experienceAbility to thrive in high pressure face paced environmentClient drivenWhat to expect from us:As an organisation, we don't just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
