About the role
Are you passionate about legal education and judicial excellence? The Judicial College of Victoria is seeking a skilled and committed Judicial Education Lead to design and deliver high-quality educational programs for Victorian judicial officers.
As the Judicial Education Lead, you will play a key role in developing and implementing judicial education programs and resources. You'll work collaboratively with internal teams, judicial committees, and external stakeholders to deliver engaging content across various formats - from in-person events to digital learning.
Key Responsibilities
; Lead the design, development, and delivery of judicial education in priority areas.
; Research and write educational content tailored for judicial audiences.
; Develop enduring resources to support judicial practice.
; Collaborate with College teams to ensure content aligns with strategy and brand.
; Manage projects from inception to completion, including timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement.
; Build strategic relationships with judicial officers and senior stakeholders.
; Support judicial education committees and teaching faculties.
; Evaluate programs and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
This role is fixed term until November 2026.
About you
You are a confident communicator and experienced project manager with a background in law, legal education, or the courts. You bring a deep understanding of adult learning principles and the judicial environment, along with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
; Tertiary qualification in law (highly desirable); qualifications in education or social sciences also considered.
; Experience in legal practice, judicial education, or the courts.
; Strong skills in instructional design, content development, and program evaluation.
; Sophisticated research and professional writing abilities.
; Exceptional project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Technical expertise - Experience in law/legal practice, legal education and/or the courts.
