Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the `Courts Group'.
Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdictions own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.
The Judicial Commission is an independent statutory corporation established under the Judicial Commission of Victoria Act 2016 to investigate complaints about the conduct or capacity of judicial officers or non-judicial VCAT members (Officer). The Commission provides an accessible and transparent complaint process which will ensure public confidence in the Victorian courts.
This Commission is an independent body established to investigate complaints about the conduct and capacity of judicial officers and non-judicial Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) members. The Commission receives administrative support from Court Services Victoria (CSV), a large public entity.
About the role
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for stakeholder engagement and impactful communication? Join us as a Strategic Projects and Communications Advisor, where you'll lead high-impact projects and drive meaningful engagement across the Commission and its partners.
As the Strategic Projects and Communications Advisor, you will lead and deliver a range of strategic and operational projects, while developing and implementing communication and stakeholder engagement strategies that support the Commission's mission. This is a dynamic role that requires strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to engage with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
; Lead and manage strategic and operational projects using best-practice project management methodologies.
; Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
; Develop and implement communication strategies to support Commission initiatives and events.
; Create high-quality, accurate communication materials tailored to diverse audiences.
; Represent the Commission in external forums and support strategic initiatives across operations, risk, compliance, and policy.

About you
You are a confident communicator and experienced project leader who thrives in a government or public sector environment. You bring a collaborative approach and a commitment to service excellence. Your other strengths will include:
; Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly within government.
; Proven ability to lead and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
; Ability to work collaboratively across teams and jurisdictions.
; Formal qualifications in Communications or a related field (desirable).
