ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team based in Tamworth. Reporting to the Group Accountant, this role entails providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts, including entering all supplier invoices in a timely manner

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Payable :

  • Supplier invoice entry

  • Freight reconciling and receipting

  • Reconcile Creditor Statements

  • Enter and reconcile monthly credit card statements

  • Manage and prepare weekly supplier payments

  • Manage Supplier Card files

Other:

  • Assist and be support the Finance Team

  • General office administration

  • Ad Hoc tasks as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

To be successful in the role, we are looking for an individual who has:

  • High attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously

  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive approach to customers

  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate initiative

  • Ability to use Excel and other MS Office tools

  • Previous experience (preferred but not essential)
