Employment Type: Full Time (Part Time considered for the right candidate)

Parry Logistics is a dynamic, family-owned transport company committed to service excellence and operational integrity across regional NSW. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accountant (or undergrad) or qualified Bookkeeper with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable to join our fast-paced office team in Tamworth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely execution of Accounts Receivable processes
  • Daily bank reconciliations and debtor follow-ups
  • Maintenance of financial records and operational databases
  • Invoicing and allocation of freight charges
  • Liaison with internal teams and external clients regarding account queries
  • Assisting with payroll and end-of-month reporting
  • Support to management with ad hoc financial tasks

Skills & Experience:

  • Formal qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in AR or small business accounting
  • Proficiency with Xero, Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Understanding of freight movement documentation (e.g. consignment notes)
  • High attention to detail, strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in the transport or logistics industry is an advantage

Work Hours:

78:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (Part Time options may be negotiated)
