Wise West Connect is a leading provider of NDIS and Home Care Package services, dedicated to supporting individuals to live independently and with dignity. We are looking for passionate and compassionate Casual Support Workers to join our team across Victoria. What You'll Be Doing
As a Casual NDIS Support Worker, you will provide individualised support guided by each person's NDIS plan. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, medication reminders, cleaning, and meal preparation.
- Providing personal care and health-related support where needed, such as stoma care or blood glucose monitoring for specific participants.
- Supporting behavioral and emotional needs using Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) and de-escalation strategies.
- Promoting independence through community access and daily skill-building.
- Documenting support provided, behaviours, and progress clearly and professionally.
- Assisting with attending doctor or hospital appointments and other routines.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people with mental disabilities and complex behaviours, and can think creatively and outside the box.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you must hold or be willing to obtain prior to employment:
- Right to work in Australia
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certificate
- Australian Driver's Licence + reliable car with full comprehensive insurance
- Infection Control Training
- Certificate III in Disability or a higher qualification.
- National Police clearance certificate
- Working with Children check
- Mental health first aid is highly desired but not essential.
