We're currently seeking a
Senior Accountant

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone

who is motivated to grow their career, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering timely, proactive, and thoughtful advice and client service.

About the Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. You'll work directly with Partners and Managers, oversee junior staff, and contribute to the firm's growth and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns (income, FBT and BAS) for companies, trust, partnerships, SMSFs and multi-entity groups.
  • Reviewing and overseeing work delegated to junior team members.
  • Maintain workpapers using cloud-based practice management software.
  • Direct client communication to maintain workflow and outstanding queries.
  • Liaise with government authorities on various administration items.
  • Identify technical issues, conducting tax research and provide technical insights and practical solutions.
  • Play a key role in the development of the team and firm, including providing internal training sessions as required.

About You

We're looking for a determined and driven team player with:

  • CPA or CA qualification (or currently undertaking).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager, FYI, Active Workpapers, and other cloud-based tools.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
