Role Description

This is a fulltime, onsite role for a Pre Sales Engineer at REEMOON Sorting Equipment. In this position, you will engage in various sales engineering tasks, including CAD and 3D layout design, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities, and collaborating closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the REEMOON HQ engineering team to create and maintain detailed drawings and layouts for a variety of projects in the Australian fruit and vegetable industry.
  • Assess the installation of REEMOON solutions, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations, and contract requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify challenges and implement efficient solutions.
  • Assist project management efforts by coordinating with teams to ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Travel interstate and internationally as required to oversee installations and testing, including visits to REEMOON HQ for ongoing training on new products and equipment.
  • Participate in inhouse training programs to stay current with the latest industry practices.

Qualifications:

  • Highly proficient in CAD software, capable of producing 3D layout models, and skilled in standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in sales engineering, customer support, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
  • Technical proficiency with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer focused approach.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing, fabrication, and installation would be an advantage.
  • Experience in maintaining safety standards and minimizing risks.
  • Understanding of low voltage electronics, networks, and associated IT technologies.
  • Fluency in Chinese/Mandarin is highly advantageous.
