Accounts Receivable Manager
to take ownership of the AR function and drive meaningful improvement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead the charge in overhauling and elevating the Accounts Receivable function. This is a key appointment for an experienced professional who thrives on bringing structure, discipline, and innovation to finance operations within a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

Your focus will be to create efficiency, improve cash flow visibility, and ensure robust credit control practices across a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, redesign, and implement improved AR processes, systems, and controls
  • Oversee billing, collections, and debtor management across multiple business units
  • Partner with operational leaders to resolve legacy issues and streamline client invoicing
  • Analyse aged debt, identify trends, and drive proactive collection strategies
  • Implement clear KPIs, reporting dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small AR team to deliver excellence and accountability
  • Support the finance leadership team with cash flow forecasting and compliance

About You

You are a hands-on, commercially minded finance professional with a proven record of leading and improving Accounts Receivable functions in a complex, multi-site environment. You balance detail with strategic oversight and enjoy taking ownership of outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated success in AR leadership within a service or contracting business (cleaning, facilities, construction, logistics, or similar)
  • Strong process improvement and systems capability (experience with ERP transitions advantageous)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • The confidence and credibility to influence at all levels of the organisation
