The Role

As a Compounder, you'll work in an experienced team as one of the craftspeople behind our premium products, responsible for the precise mixing and blending of hair care, personal care, and household cleaning products. This hands-on role offers the perfect blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Batch Manufacturing Excellence: Prepare and mix materials according to exact specifications, ensuring every product meets our exacting ISO quality standards
• Precision Processing: Handle industrial batches exceeding 500kg, working with both cold and hot process formulations
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control duties including sample collection, labeling, and coordinating product testing
• Technical Monitoring: Monitor and adjust timing, mixing speeds and temperature levels to maintain optimal production conditions
• Documentation: Maintain accurate batch records and documentation in compliance with GMP standards
• Equipment Management: Prepare, operate, and maintain plant equipment according to SOPs and safety protocols
• Facility Maintenance: Contribute to general facility maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a safe, efficient workplace

What You'll Bring:

Essential Requirements:

• The ability to work full time in Australia; Australian Residency or Citizenship
• Solid mathematical and literacy skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Availability for overtime to complete batches as required
• Physical capability to handle industrial-scale manufacturing processes

Highly Regarded Experience:

• ISO22716 manufacturing quality standards or GMP environments (cosmetic/pharmaceutical)
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience or related background in Food, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Chemical industries
• Current forklift licence and machinery maintenance experience
• Laboratory equipment and batch testing procedures
