**The opportunity**:
We have a permanent part-time (Friday shift) opportunity for a pharmacy technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team based onsite at the South Eastern Private Hospital in Noble Park. You will deliver exceptional pharmacy services to inpatients, ensuring that all pharmacy activities are completed to a high standard while supporting the quality use of medicines.

**In this role, you can**:

- Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
- Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
- Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
- Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
- Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles to hospital patients on discharge
- Confidently complete administrative and record keeping duties
- Assist with patient account enquiries

**_Eligibility Requirements:_**
- Previous experience dispensing medication
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS)
