**Flooring Systems also provides ready-made adhesives for floor covering installations, parquet flooring, and ceramic tiles, leveling compounds for the construction industry as well as liquid floors under the trade name Eurocol.** **Accounts Receivable Officer**: **General Functions and Tasks** - Timely collection and management of debtor accounts - Creating and maintaining customer account master data in SAP system - Constant liaison with Customer Service and Sales staff regarding orders from customers who are either on stop supply or have exceeded their credit limit and other various queries - Enter daily receipts from bank statements and cheques into SAP and ensure correct allocation - Reconciliation of all Debtor accounts - Ensures major customers are adequately covered by credit insurance - Responsible for issuing monthly and ad hoc account statements to customers - Ensure all Internal Control Procedures relating to Accounts are understood and followed at all times. - 7-day letters to debtors with 60 days outstanding without a payment plan - Arrange for Debt Collection when required - Provide information for External and Internal Audits - Other general duties as required by management and the needs of the business **Daily**: - Enter and allocate all cash receipts including credit card payments in SAP - Contact customers regarding any account queries such as short payment or overdue accounts, and update notes in SAP as per Credit Policy. - Advise Credit Dept. of any customer claims **Monthly**: - Print Debtors’ Statements - Advise Insurance Broker of outstanding debts over 90 days and >15K. **Quarterly & Annually**: - Provide a report detailing all changes to customer master data to Finance Director - Provide a report detailing customer activity for review by Finance Director **Qualifications and Experience** - Preferred practical knowledge and experience in all aspects of Accounts Receivable - Must be a team player and be able to consult with people at all levels
