About us: The outer western region of our service includes extremely remote communities. Cairns Hospital is the only major referral hospital in Far North Queensland and also provides care for people from Cape York and the Torres Strait.
About your opportunity:
In this position you will:
Demonstrated communication skills to effectively liaise with other staff and relate to clients and the public in a sensitive, confidential and courteous manner.
Assist with Release of Information requests in a timely and appropriate manner in accordance with all local policies and procedures as directed.
Provide assistance to MHAODS. Clinical Lead /Team Leaders and other staff within a clinical team structure to ensure priority tasks are completed and deadlines met.
Coordinating doctor clinics including bulk billing, appointment scheduling, chart preparation as required.
